The Toms River Education Foundation believes that our students’ participation in extracurricular, school-based programs will help foster overall academic excellence while instilling important life qualities such as leadership, team-building, self-confidence, and respect for each other. The goal and purpose of the Toms River Education Foundation is to secure resources from individuals, corporations, government entities and other foundations to insure that all Toms River Regional School District students have both access and the ability to participate in extra-curricular school based programs.

About the Toms River Education Foundation
The Toms River Education Foundation was established in 2020 in response to significant cuts in State aid to the Toms River Regional School District. The Toms River Education Foundation is comprised of community based volunteers. The Foundation is non-political, and is designed to help bridge the financial gap created by the loss in State aid so that extra-curricular school based programs may still be available to all students, regardless of financial ability to participate.
